Day 1: Arrival/Beijing
Airport to Hotel Transfer (Beijing)
Arrive in Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2: Beijing (B L)
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace
The first stop today is Tiananmen Square - the largest city square in the world. Then walk into the Forbidden City (UNESCO), the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasty, to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. Afterwards, visit the elegant Summer Palace (UNESCO), which is the largest imperial garden in the world.
Day 3: Beijing (B L)
Temple of Heaven, Hutong Tour by rickshaw
This morning visit another renowned imperial site - the Temple of Heaven(UNESCO), where ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Then take a Hutong Tour by rickshaw to experience the Chinese traditional life style.
Day 4: Beijing/Chengde (B L D)
Jinshanling Great Wall, Putuozongcheng Temple
Drive to Chengde. On the way, take a visit to the Jinshanling Great Wall(UNESCO), which is the best preserved part with many original features. Upon arrival, take a visit to Putuozongcheng Temple, which is reminiscent of the Dala Lama’s Potala Palace in Tibet.
Day 5: Chengde/Beijing (B L)
Mountain Resort of Chengde, Puning Temple
In the morning, visit the Mountain Resort of Chengde (UNESCO), which is recognized as the world's largest imperial garden. Here you will find a vast complex of palaces, administrative and ceremonial buildings, temples, lakes, and forests. Afterwards, approach to the Puning Temple -one of the famous Eight Outer Temples in Chengde City and approved as a national cultural protection. Then transfer back to Beijing.
Day 6: Beijing/Xi'an (B L)
Hotel to Airport Transfer (Beijing), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Xi’an), Ancient City Wall, Great Mosque, Muslim Snack Street.
Leisure and take a flight to Xi'an - the ancient capital over 1100 years. On arrival, visit the Ancient City Wall, the most complete one that has survived in China. Then visit the Great Mosque, which is one of the oldest and best-preserved Islamic mosques and the Muslim Snack Street- a famous snack street and near the Drum Tower.
Day 7: Xi'an (B L SD)
Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Dinner Show
Visit to the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses(UNESCO), the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Then head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of ancient Xi'an. In the evening, enjoy the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show- a must when you visit Xi'an.
Day 8: Xi'an/Beijing (B L)
Shaanxi History Museum, Hanyangling Mausoleum, Hotel to Airport Transfer (Xi'an), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Beijing)
Visit theShaanxi History Museum, a large-scale national comprehensive museum in Xi’an, where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture. And then pay a short visit to the Hanyangling Mausoleum, which was built at the base of the joint tomb of Emperor Jingdi and his Empress, combining modern technology, ancient civilization, historical culture and garden scenery. Fly to Beijing and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9: Beijing/Departure (B)
Hotel to Airport Transfer (Beijing)
Transfer to the airport for departure. Service ends.
