Day 1 (Wed): Arrive in Beijing
Airport to Hotel Transfer (Beijing)
Welcome to Beijing! Meet and transfer to the 5-star Beijing International Hotel. Beijing, ancient capital, modern metropolis, the home of emperors and the heart of a great cultural tradition. Spend the rest of the day to explore Beijing's historical yet dynamic atmosphere on your own.
Day 2 (Thu): Beijing
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong tour
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
You can't come to Beijing and not get a photo taken on one of Beijing's cultural icons -- the Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest square lying in the middle of Beijing's central axis, an imaginary line splitting the city into symmetrical halves. Head directly to the north of the Tian'anmen Square for the Forbidden City, the world's largest imperial palace complex and world's largest collection of ancient wood structures (UNESCO). Now housing the Palace Museum, the Forbidden City was once home of the emperors and their households for almost 5 centuries. The yellow-glazed tiles and ancient relics in the Forbidden City make it easy to feel like you're being transported back in time, when the city existed in all its imperial glory. Having sampled the court life and elite culture, you'll be taken to the culture of grassroots Beijingers -- Hutong tour with pedicab ride and home visit. The Hutong courtyard, traditional courtyard homes of local Beijing people, is symmetrical and neat inside with room on all four sides.
Day 3 (Fri): Beijing
Badaling Great Wall, Sacred Way of Ming Tomb, Jade Stone Workshop, Bird's Nest & Water Cube, Kungfu Show (optional)

As traditional Chinese saying goes, one hasn't been to Beijing until he or she visited Badaling Great Wall. With all of its cultural symbolism and its 2,000 years' history, the dazzling man-made structure is a place you simply cannot miss. Join us on a steep climb if you enjoy a good sweat. Or take an optional Great Wall cable car if you are feeling slightly more adventurous. You'll be rewarded and overwhelmed with a stunning and magnificent view on top. Then step along the Sacred Way of Ming Tomb, the road 'leading to heaven' lined with ancient stone statues of the Ming Dynasty. Jade Stone Workshop visit back to downtown Beijing if time permits. Photo stop at the National Olympic Stadium nicknamed as Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. Optional tour of Kungfu Show with transfers. (USD 28 per person).
Day 4 (Sat): Beijing
Temple of Heaven, Pearl Workshop, Summer Palace, Peking Duck Dinner
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Special Dinner
Today you'll visit another renowned imperial site, the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO), where ancient Chinese emperors made sacrifices to Heaven and prayed for bountiful harvests. Pearl Workshop visit if time permits. Then head 15 km from central Beijing to one of the capital's most visited sites, the Summer Palace, ranking as the most classic gardens around the world and was listed as an UNESCO world heritage site. Once a playground for the imperial court, the Summer Palace is an opulent mixture of a 3,000 structures, including palaces, temples, gardens, pavillons, lakes and corridors. Hire a raft boat to explore the Kunming Lake, and make your way up to the Buddhist Incense Tower, one of the best preserved structure in the Summer Palace. It's a perfect time to sit, catch your breath an taking in the beauty of this magnificent place. Peking Duck Dinner for special dinner tonight.
Day 5 (Sun): Beijing - Xi'an (air)
Hotel to Airport Transfer (Beijing), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Xi'an), Provincial Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Fly to Xi’an. Your first stop in Xi'an leads you to Shaanxi Provincial Museum, housing large quantities, full categories, and high grade precious art treasures, stone carvings and unearthed historical relics of the Han and Tang dynasties. Then head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in the Tang Dynasty, one of China's most famous Buddhist pagodas housing Buddhist manuscripts and sutra brought back from India by Xuanzang, the graeat monk who brought Buddhism east.
Overnight at Jianguo Hotel Xi'an.
Day 6 (Mon): Xi'an
Terracotta Warriors Museum, Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Dinner Show
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Special Dinner
Full day excursion to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. Admire the 7,000 terracotta soldiers that have stood guard over China's first emperor for over 2,200 years. Pit stop at the Ceramics & Pottery Workshop en route. Tonight experience the enchantment and the splendors of the Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Show, taking you back thousands of years.
Day 7 (Tue): Xian - Chongqing(air)
Hotel to Airport Transfer (Xi'an), Airport to Yangtze Cruise Dock Transfer (Chongqing), Panda Zoo, MV President Prime Cruise
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Fly to Chongqing. Visit the Panda Zoo, and enjoy local flavored hot pot dinner before embarking on the MV President Prime Cruise (Deluxe 5-star Cruise, standard cabin with private balcony).
Day 8 (Wed): Three Gorges
MV President Prime Cruise, Ghost City of Fengdu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Start sail for a distance of 430 miles in all the great gorges and deep mountain valleys. Shore excursion in the afternoon to the Ghost City of Fengdu, where the temples reveal ancient Chinese religions and legends with the ghost statures.
Day 9 (Thu): Three Gorges
MV President Prime Cruise, Shennong Steam
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Your cruise will sail into the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, where the peaceful and tranquil waters turn to wild stirrings and swirling bubbles. You'll see cliffs hemmed by the banging pathways under the Twelve Peaks. If you feel slightly adventurous, embark on a small pea pod boat and sail deep further into the Shennong Steam. You'll even experience man-powered sampans. Return to your Yangtze cruise and head for sailing into the Xiling Gorge.
Day 10 (Fri): Yichang - Shanghai (air)
Three Gorges Dam, Yangtze Cruise Dock to Airport Transfer (Yichang), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Shanghai)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site. Then back on board and pass through 5 ship locks before we end our cruise at Yichang. Transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Stay overnight at Ocean Hotel Shanghai.
Day 11 (Sat): Shanghai
Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund, Tianzifang Artist Area, Shanghai Acrobatic Show
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Put all the quick paces and the hustles and bustles aside and stroll through the Yuyuan Garden, you'll suddenly find yourself in an oasis of calm and beauty. Then feast your eyes on bronzes, paintings, ceramics, jade and China's ancient treasures in state-of-the-art galleries and international-standard exhibits at the Shanghai Museum. Your next stop is the Bund, a perfect introduction to Shanghai's glorious past. Stunning structures sit side-by-side with dazzling skyscrapers and super structures. Nicknamed as Shanghai's Wall Street, the Bund is filled with banks and institutions, even the bricks could talk! Then get a good view and the best taste of the essence of Chinese folk art in Tianzifang Artist Area. Golden glows of the old colonial-style building shines with all the bars, restaurants and lounges inside. We'll call it a day after the exhilarating Shanghai Acrobatic Show tonight.
Day 12 (Sun): Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai (automobile)
Garden of the Master of the Nets, Lingering Garden, the Grand Canal cruise

Tranquility, harmony and oriental beauty is all that Suzhou the 'Oriental Venice' can offer. You'll feel it as you begin your journey today from Garden of the Master of the Nets (UNESCO), one of the four famous exquisite gardens in Suzhou. You will never regret the Lingering Garden (UNESCO) with joyous groupings of gardens and elegant pavillons, enchanting woody hills and idyllic scenes beyond bamboo fences. Make a pit stop at the Silk Factory and learn how the legendary silk worm brought warm and prosperity to the ancient Chinese. You'll have an unparalleled experience on the Grand Canal cruise. Get on board and voyage on the longest man-made waterway in the world, the greatest of the greatest engineering achievement of the nation. The network of picturesque lakes and canals both large and small alongside will remind you at times that you are in an Oriental water wonderland. Still feel the sound of nature lingering beside your ears? Time to drive back to Shanghai for a full night's sound sleep.
Day 13 (Mon): Shanghai (Hangzhou Optional)

Today is free to explore on your own in Shanghai, or join in our optional tour to Hangzhou. the highlights of a Hangzhou visit will be comprised of the West Lake, the Hefang Street, tea plantation & Billionaire Hu’s Former Residence. (Price at USD 110 per person operated with minimum of 6 passengers.)
Day 14 (Tue): Depart Shanghai
Hotel to Airport Transfer (Shanghai)

Transfer to the airport for your homeward flight. End of service.
