Day 1 (Tue): Arrive Beijing (No meals)
Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 2 (Wed): Beijing (B L)
This morning, visit the renowned imperial site – the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO), the largest complex of temple buildings in China now, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests. You will also see local people doing Taiji and morning exercises there. Then head to Tian'anmen Square and the extravagant the largest Imperial Palace in the world - the Forbidden City (UNESCO). Then approach to the largest imperial garden in the world, the elegant Summer Palace (UNESCO).
Day 3 (Thu): Beijing (B L)
In the morning, pay a visit to the Shaolin Kungfu Training School or the seven-kilometer-long Sacred Way(UNESCO), which is affiliated with the Ming Tombs and lined with eighteen pairs of marvelous stone creatures. Then head to Great Wall Badaling (UNESCO) and walking along its ramparts for breathtaking view of the largest man power project in ancient. During the way back to Beijing, photo stop at the Bird's Nest & Water Cube if time allows. Visit a Jade Carving Factory and observe the skilled artisans at work as they create intricate designs en route.
Day 4 (Fri): Beijing/Xi'an (B L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, meet your guide and pay a visit to the Grand Mosque, which blends Islamic mosque styles and traditional Chinese architectural elements. Stroll along the Muslim Street, which is full of local delicacies and snacks. Afterwards, visit the Bell Tower, which is known as the symbol of Xi'an, and its history can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Day 5 (Sat): Xi'an (B L SD)
In the morning, visit the UNESCO site of Terracotta Warriors & Horses, which is known as the "eighth marvel in the world" and shocked the people all over the world with their magnificent vigor and outstanding carving art. Then admire the Ancient City Wall, which is one of the oldest walls in China and still compasses the center of Xi'an. If time permits, visit the Ceramics & Pottery Center en route. Tonight enjoy Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 6 (Sun): Xi’an/Dunhuang (B)
Free at leisure. Then transfer to airport for the flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 7 (Mon) : Dunhuang (B L D)
Today take a visit to Mogao Grottoes, the best known of the Chinese Buddhist grottoes. Then head to Singing Sand Dune, which can produce a sound described as roaring, and the Crescent Lake, a natural wonder in the Gobi Desert. You will also take a Camel ride to enjoy the beautiful Scenery there. If time permits, take a visit to the village nearby.
Day 8 (Tue) : Dunhuang/Turpan (B L D)
Excursion to Yumen Pass, the one road connecting Central Asia and China in ancient times. Then back to Dunhuang and visit the Dunhuang Museum. Afterwards, enjoy some free time. After dinner, transfer to Liuyuan station for overnight train to Turpan (1/4 soft berth).
Day 9 (Wed) : Turpan (B L D)
Upon arrival, met and transferred to the Huozhou Hotel for breakfast. After freshen up at the hotel, pay a visit to the Grape Valley, which has been famous for the cultivation of the sweetest, tastiest grapes. Then go to Karez Irrigation System, in which groundwater is tapped by a tunnel. Afterwards visit the Jiaohe Ancient Ruins, the biggest, oldest and best-preserved city of its construction in the world at sunset. Dinner and then enjoy Uygur minority dancing and singing performance at the hotel.
Day 10 (Thu): Turpan/Urumqi (B L D)
Take a visit to the Emin Minerat, the tallest minaret in China, then head to Bezklik Thousand Buddha Caves, the corridor of murals surpassing other existing caves in China. Afterwards, head to the Flaming Mountain, whose high summer temperatures make this the hottest spot in China. Lunch at a Uygur family. Drive to Urumqi and check in the Mirage Hotel (B Tower).
Day 11 (Fri): Urumqi (B L D)
Excursion to the Heavenly Lake, a crater lake on the border between China and North Korea, with a cruise, then visit a Kazakh family at a pasture nearby. Back to the city and visit the Xinjiang Museum, a large integrated museum and centre for the study of cultural relics in the autonomous region.
Day 12 (Sat): Urumqi/Kashgar (B L SD)
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Kashgar. Upon arrival, met at airport and visit the Afaq Khoja Mausoleum, the burial place of one of Afaq Khoja's(the wife of a rogue leader who was captured by the Qianlong emperor) descendents. Then head to the Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China. Check in the Tianyuan International Hotel. Dinner with local flavors.
Day 13 (Sun): Kashgar/Urumqi (B L D)
Today visit the Sunday Bazaar and the Kashgar old town, the best-preserved example of a traditional Islamic city to be found anywhere in Central Asia, including a home visit to a Uygur family. Evening flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel.
Hotel: Mirage Hotel (B Tower).
Day 14 (Mon): Urumqi/Shanghai (B)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Optional tour of Huangpu River with dinner (USD 49 per person)

Day 15 (Tue): Shanghai (B L)
In the morning, visit the Yu Garden (UNESCO), which is a famous ancient private garden with architectures of Ming and Qing dynasties. Then visit Shanghai Museum, a large-scale comprehensive art museum, which collects 21 kinds of cultural relics with the number of 123,000 pieces, which are mainly bronze ware, painting and calligraphy. Afterwards, visit Xintiandi, a very well-known boutique area composed together with fashion and tradition, fan & elegant. Continue to take a visit to the bustling Bund - the symbol of Shanghai, which is a must for Chinese and foreign tourists coming to Shanghai.
Optional Acrobatic show with dinner tonight (USD 47 per person).
Day 16 (Wed): Depart Shanghai (B)
Leisure and departure transfer to airport for homeward flight. End of tour.
