Dear Chen Hong,
We had quite a nice and enjoyable time in Inner Mongolia. It was an experience to remember. Still I would not say it goes over our Guilin and Yangshou experience. That was our best travel with China travel designer
The grasslands gave us a glimpse of what life would have been for the local herdsmen, although we can see life has changed for them. We enjoyed the horse back riding and the hospitality of the locals. The beauty of the night sky was wonderful, as well as the sunset and sunrise although the grasslands were colder than anticipated. It would be good to warn customer that the grassland can be at least 10 degrees Fahrenheit colder than Hohhot, since you can not find that in any weather website. Either that or publish the grasslands temperatures within the average climate information box.
Both the open space and the night sky are very beautiful. The only recommendations from our guide were to visit a Local Craft Factory which was ok but no producing, we bought very little, and to go to The wedding Show at the Resonant Sand Park. We would have liked to know more about the extra rides and packages within the park to have a plan before getting there. We chose the wedding without knowing all the other choices that were more active and suitable for our young children. The Wedding Show was good but we wish it would be a non smoking environment. I could not wait for it to finish my eyes were burning and I was short breath. We left a little earlier.
As I mention before the night sky in Xilamuren and the desert. We were wondering where this desert was when after going up a hill and down we were face to face with it. The camel ride was neat since it is so different from anything we have done before.
Hohhot was much more modern than we imagined, as well as Erdos. Shopping for clothing around Hohhot was pretty good and easy. The area around Holiday Inn in Erdos was very new and average grade.
We would recommend it to our friends, except we would tell them to upgrade the hotels. The Huachen in Hohhot was short on two aspects: Beds were very hard, and breakfast did not include much of a western choice. We do not mind this during lunch and dinner or at the grasslands, since we know we are in foreign country and you have to experience how is the life in these places. Breakfast is the beginning of the day and most westerners like to have a little comfort from back home at least in the cities. The Holiday Inn was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone.
Thanks for your time. We hope this helps you all in your endeavor to continue with becoming a number one travel company!
Sincerely,
