Hi Zhongxin, Merry and I enjoyed our trip to China tremendously and it was definitely one of the most memorable trips we will remember for the years to come. We would also like to thank you for your help in putting our itinerary together. The lunches that were arranged for us were of good quality and they were generally very good representation of the local cuisine. The two best lunches we had took place in the historic Hung Village near Huangshan, and in the water town of Tung Li. The former restaurant offered very delicious dishes made with very fresh local ingredients and with the chef's personal recipe. The restaurant in Tung Li is an old tea house that offered good food and a wonderful ambiance full of character and history. Most of our tour guides were excellent. They all have good command of English, are all very knowledgeable and offered us a lot of interesting and helpful information. Three of our guides stood out as some of the best that we have met in the industry: Sofia, our first guide in Shanghai: Sofia was very helpful and was eager to make sure our stay in Shanghai was comfortable and our preferences be accommodated. She also offered good advice and useful information for the rest of our trip as well. Kevin Liu, our guide in Hangzhou was full of enthusiasm and he really took good care of his customers because he truly believed he was an ambassador for his country and his home town rather than just a guide. I was really touched by his attitude and enthusiasm. Our guide in Huangshan, Lina is also a great host who took good care of us and made sure our wishes and preferences be accommodated. She helped us added a side trip to the historic Hung Village near Huangshan, which became one of the most memorable parts of our tour. I felt that these three individuals are definitely some of the best in their field and I felt that I have made three good friends on this trip. The hotels arranged for us varied in their quality. The one we liked the most was the Suzhou Pan Pacific Hotel. It is a hotel with true international 5-star standard. It combines modern comfort on the inside with the character of an ancient palace on the outside. It is absolutely stunning. The service and the food quality were also excellent. We were not too happy with the Majesty Plaza Hotel in Shanghai. It has a good location, but the hotel is quite worn out and felt old. It did not have the 5-star quality we expected. We enjoyed our tour very much. Thank you. Meals are absolutely stupendous! Everyone in the group just raved about the meals. The environment of restaurants was great. The service likewise was special. We are unable to single out any one special meal, sorry, recommend them all. Guides were all very good, with a couple of standouts. They were very knowledgeable. Some, however, provided on-going commentary while traveling between locations that was very meaningful and appreciated. We also found the drivers to be timely, polite and the vehicles clean. A cigarette odor was noted in one vehicle but was of no problem. We got excellent hotels everywhere. Hotel services were good and room cleanliness was very good. Quite seriously the entire tour was memorable and an extremely good value for the monies we paid. Regards

Dear Cui Qing, We are back in Beijing now after our amazing trip to Tibet. The guide in Lhasa was outstanding and the hotel was of a good standard. The organisation of your company and its representatives was also extremely good. We had no problems or inconveniences at all. The only concerning factor was out journey out of Lhasa back to Beijing. I'm aware it was a very busy period and so flights and train tickets were limited. Fortunately a friend of mine was able to request train tickets on our behalf. In all honesty, my only comment for future clients would be if you could suggest all possible options and alternatives, both regarding sightseeing and also transportation. At times when we spoke with you in your office, we felt like we had to keep suggesting alternative travel ideas as you were searching for information. It would have been great if you could say to clients, "well, you have 3 options to get there..." On the whole it was a great experience and I will definitely be recommending China Travel Designer to friends who travel to China. Many thanks for your help once again,

I have to especially thank you, You were so patient and accommodating with all requests. Our guide Christian was very efficient, kind, cordial and well informed. The driver was very nice and the vehicle was well kept. The meals were just kept getting better and better each day. Overall we got the flavor of a variety of Chinese dishes. Keep up the good work. We are so happy with the service provided by your travel agency! Thank you. The meals were terrific! The breakfast buffet had a great selection of western and Chinese food. We tried everything! All the restaurants were very clean and the friendly staff spoke English well and was very helpful. All the food was presented in a very appetizing way. My favorite thing about lunch & supper was being able to order from the menu ourselves! The picture menus made this easy and we were able to sample new dishes that were of interest to us. Our guide gave us suggestions, but gave us complete freedom to choose whatever we liked. I love to try new foods, so my favorites were the deep fried eggplant with pork and the cold dish of rabbit meat. Our guide Chris was so great! She gave us just the right amount of information at each site to help us learn about Chinese history & culture without overwhelming us. She was very patient with my many questions and was able to answer all that we asked about Xian's history and also present day culture. At the museum, she was able to share with us interesting stories that were not found on the museum display signs. Our guide had a very professional level of English. We had no problem understanding everything she said. She also gave us opportunity to learn some Chinese words as well. The van was very clean and the driver very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. We took advantage of the free activities offered in the evenings, swimming, ping pong, and working out at the gym. The staff was so helpful and spoke English well. We asked for extra towels and for some bags to carry our souvenirs and each time they were delivered within minutes. Thanks so much to our guide Chris for her patience with me walking so slowly with my bad foot, and for offering suggestions like the carriage ride to make it easier for me to get around. Thanks for being so flexible to work into the tour our bike ride on the city wall and arranging for us to see the fountain show at the pagoda! I would recommend China travel designer to anyone! I found it a safe, reliable, and very professional service. There were no hidden costs and our tour went very smoothly. Thank s again.

Thank you for arranging our tours. All guides and drivers had excellent attitude. A very good mention for the guide in Xian is that her knowledge and answering was very excellent. The others guides also gave us good information. All the hotels were what we expect. We asked for quiet room and they always gave us a quiet room. Breakfast was every where excellent. The meals on the cruise were various and excellent same for the buffet at the hotel. Compliment for the communication when we preparing the tour, it's very pleasant to obtain an answer so fast to every question. You gave us very good information and advices. The organization of the tour was exceptional and very professional. Everything and everybody was on time and exactly what we choice. We had an excellent trip without any stress and very comfortable.
