Dear Yuan,
We were very satisfied with the Guillin experience with the guides. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He clearly took it upon himself to engage us in conversation and his English was really remarkable. We could tell at the end of the day though that he was worn out. Given that we both speak foreign languages, we both know how draining it can be to speak another language all day. The only comment that both of us have relates to the Guillin Boat tour in the evening. We would do it again just for the experience. However, if other travelers are interested in an authentic cultural experience with dance and song, I would suggest finding a more in depth opportunity. The glimpses that were provided during the show were too short to enjoy, and given they were done to recorded music the entertainers were at clear disadvantage having to mouth the words and beat drums, etc to recorded music (we also noted that noted that not many of them were smiling, and so I'd conclude that they were not having a good time with their art). So, what I would suggest is that if someone like the two of us come through again, that you find original, live, dance and singing. Obviously not all cities will have this each night, but the Tourism leaders in the city might want to consider supporting something along this line a couple nights per week.
The trip to Xi'an was exciting with the Warriors and the completely enjoyed making dumplings. The guide explanations to our questions or general facts about the sites we were seeing lacked facts and numbers. We felt rather that we were being escorted around, rather than guided.
Anyhow, I am very happy with your company and will come to China again in the future.
