Dear Jessie, We returned from our trip to The People’s Republic of China, safely. We would like to thank you for all that you did to make our trip one of the most memorable that we have ever had in the sixteen years that we’ve been traveling together. All of the arrangements that you made occurred exactly as planned and scheduled. There was never a time that we had wait for any Guide or be disappointed that something that was planned did not take place. Your attention to detail was excellent. More memorable though, was the flexibility that you and the others at China travel designer had in helping us work around a couple of things that occurred that were beyond our control. When Melanie hurt her back going to Shanghai, were very appreciative that we were able to stay at our hotel in Shanghai that first night instead of her having to suffer through a two hour drive to the water village. Also, helping us get another room with an elevator after two nights in Shanghai made her recovery and enjoyment of Shanghai even better and quicker. We really appreciated that action and your personal phone call to us to tell us of that option. That was very special to us. We hope that it won’t be another ten years before we can return to your amazing country, but when we do, we’ll contact China travel designer to help us with our trip planning. In the meantime, if we have friends who want to visit China, we will certainly give them your name to help them with their travel plans. We know that they will be as impressed with your services as we were. Thank you again for all of your assistance. To the Supervisor of Jessie: We wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the service that Jessie provided for us prior to and during our trip to China . Everything worked perfectly. Even those things that needed to be modified were taken care of for us. We especially appreciated her last minute efforts to get us into our hotel in Shanghai one day sooner than scheduled and getting us into another hotel due to an injury to my wife’s back. If we are able to visit China in the future, we hope that Jessie will still be with China travel designer to assist us with our travel arrangements. If we have friends who are planning to visit China, we will definitely refer them to Jessie to assist them with their travel plans. Thank you.

Hi Yin, This was quite a scary experience for me as there was something quite seriously wrong and being in an unfamiliar place, not speaking the language or being familiar with the hospital system was very daunting. I appreciate the time that you and guide Linda spent assisting me through this process, it made it much more manageable. I am feeling ok now but am progressing with some more tests now that I am home as it seems that it may have been a minor stroke. Luckily it didn't get any worse while we were there and I was able to continue with the tour. We were sorry to miss the boat cruise in Guilin however. Thanks again for arranging the golf cart to take us around the countryside as it would have been quite risky for me to cycle, as much as I was looking forward to it. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in this regard and for your follow up phone calls to check how I was going as the tour continued. It is these types of considerations, in being able to anticipate customer's requirements, that make a good service provider a great one. So keep up the good work, I wish you every success for the future and will recommend your tours to anyone who is thinking of coming to your amazing country. It would also be appreciated if you could pass on my apologies to Linda and Mr Liu as I meant to give them a larger tip. I realized afterwards that I counted the Yuen incorrectly and only gave them one day's worth which I feel bad about. Please let them know that the amount did therefore not reflect our satisfaction with their service and that we were very happy with them both. Dear Chen, It was the best itinerary for us. We got to see all the major attractions within our time frame. The city walls in Xian. It was an impressive feature to the city. Enjoyed the cycle around it also. It was something I wasn’t expecting as the main attraction to Xian was the Terracotta Army so this was a great surprise! Lily in Xian. She went above and beyond for us. She answered all our questions, brought us to additional places not on our itinerary and also booked us a night at the Tang Dynasty in which she and her driver brought us to and wanted to wait until the show was over to bring us back to the hotel which we declined as she was with us all day and it really wasn’t necessary but were most impressed with her enthusiasm and professionalism.

Hello, I was generally very pleased with my travel that you arranged and I thank you for a wonderful trip. Here are responses to your specific questions. Food was generally good, both at the hotel as well as outside the hotel. The Yinhe hotel in Chengdu was wonderful. The Shangbala hotel was acceptable. The room was clean but there was no wireless and the hot water took about 15 minutes to warm up in the morning. However, it was in an excellent location and I was very happy with this. The guide was a great guide and his English was better than I expected. He was very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. The car and driver were also very nice. The car was clean. I would definitely recommend your travel agency to any friends traveling to China, including Tibet. Thank you for a wonderful trip. Thanks again,

Hello Sofia Chen, Without a doubt Mt Everest views & the Potala Palace were the most memorable attractions. We enjoyed intermingling with locals around Jokhang temple, and even just people watching. We tried numerous of the restaurants & markets recommended in our confirmation letter and without exception they were all outstanding. Our guide suggested extra restaurants and shops at our request, again all were excellent. We almost felt like locals. Sights of Mt Everest and the Potala Palace, made us go WOW! Lhasa lived up to and exceeded our expectations, the towns & streets were far cleaner than expected. Far less hustle & bustle than expected, fewer pushy stall holders than expected. Friendlier locals than expected, especially meeting many monks. Tibet in general was far dryer and more barren than I expected. During the day it was warmer than expected. It was cleaner & more modern than expected. I would recommend you to any one, and have done so to anyone that will listen and is interested in visiting China or Tibet. The best ground handler I have ever used. As an over view of our experience with china travel designer:- My wife & I both love China, especially the Tibetan region, and we will be travelling there again in the future, when we do we will use china travel designer again. Dear Ruby, We happily got the flexible individual tour we wanted. The reason we paid extra money to tour as a small family was the expectation that each guide would to be able to be flexible to meet our individual needs and interests. We could not be happier with the delivery of China travel designer and each of their city guides. They met and exceeded our standards consistently. We spent the most time with your guides. Elva in Beijing was young, eager, and friendly. She was the favorite of our 11 year old grandson and took good care of us. Her knowledge of the local attractions was good as was her English and explanations Sara in Xi'an was our best guide. Her professionalism was clearly the highest. Knowledge and English were very good. She was the most organized for what she was going to show us and gave good lectures in a quiet place before we got to each exhibit. Most of your other guides simply got to an exhibit and then explained it, but not in the context of a whole. She handled the room situation at the Sofitel well. Harry in Guilin did a nice job for us. Our discussions were more about family life in China and less about history. Shirley in Shanghai could not have been more helpful or flexible in dealing with a tired family. She should be commended for her flexibility and helpfulness. We enjoyed meeting her as a person. Again, I must favorably comment on her flexibility in Shanghai and the long hours she spent with us. The drivers and cars were all comfortable and for the most part drove more safely than general traffic. You must continue to stress passenger safety to each of your drivers. The faster time is not as important as passenger safety. All hotels were up to standards with both the Sofitel and Shanghai Raddison especially nice. All were well situated. The Cloisonne, silk drawing and calligraphy turned out to be better stops than I expected because they all had demonstrations. The driver in Shanghai took us to a perfect indoor souvenir shop for smaller gifts. The phone turned out to be little used but very convenient. A nice touch! Xi'an is well worth the visit. Seeing how the warriors could have been made beforehand was good. Terra cotta exhibits were well done. The visit to the wall including the bike ride was enjoyed by all. The Li river cruise is simply outstanding and memorable. The drive through the country side in open air bus was a hit. We happened to be able to watch a brief animal show at the zoo. If this is a daily show, guides should arrange tours to be able to watch it. Thanks,
