The meals we had with China travel designer were very nice! We ate one in a restaurant near the Terracotta warriors which was a very nice restaurant; one was at the dumpling place in Xian and the other in a Chinese person's apartment. I would recommend the home cooked meal most. It was pleasant, friendly and relaxing with excellent home-cooked food. The restaurant was nice and clean with a very good selection of food. The dumpling restaurant was good, and something of an experience, but I would only want to do that once. We enjoyed the show that was provided after the dumplings. The guide Jack was very helpful and knowledgeable. His English was very good and we had no trouble understanding him. He knew all about the places we visited. The drivers were very friendly. The cars were clean and comfortable. We stayed at one hotel, the Titan Times Hotel, which was clean, comfortable and had excellent service. We spent 3 days with China travel designer in Xian before a conference in Beijing. Our experience was very pleasant and I would suggest this is the best way to get an introduction to china if you have never been there before. It was nice not having to deal with traffic problems or entry charges, and a bonus to have someone who can answer questions and take all of the hassle out of a vacation. Hi Zhong, We wish to thank you for making our recent tour of China such a successful trip. All the activities organized by chinatraveldesigner - from setting up the Itinerary prior to travelling; meeting and drop off at the airports in Beijing, Xian and Guilin; and the help given by the Guides - were carried out to a high standard and everything worked out smoothly and seamlessly. In particular we would like to make a special thanks to the tour guides and drivers. The tour guides provided good information and explanations; and all three drivers drove safely and carefully in some demanding conditions. We fitted in a lot in 8 days, all made possible by the good planning and organization of chinatraveldesigner. We were very pleased that we chose to use chinatraveldesigner for the second time to organize our trip to China this year and when we return for the third time we will definitely use your company again. All our guides were highly professional, friendly, relaxed and extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. All our drivers were exceptional. They were excellent at driving, in what at times, seemed insane traffic. They took good care of us and their cars. It was always a delight to step into a comfortable and clean car after a long days walk! We are grateful for the small details such as making sure the windows were clean so we could take photos and video from inside the car. One of our most interesting and enjoyable lunches was at the Impressions Baisha Cafe in Baisha. The cafe has excellent facilities and superb local dishes. Once again we would like to thank all your staff ,our guides and drivers, as without your highly professional attitudes and wonderful suggestions we would not have enjoyed our second trip to China as much as we did. We enjoyed the tour very much. The meal was nice. Even though the buffet wasn't available, there was a good variety of food provided. There was enough and more was offered if we wanted it. Our guide Lucy was very conscientious and she paid attention to our needs. She was perfectly able to communicate with us. Her pronunciation did not affect that. Lucy knew a lot about each place we went, as well as places on the way. She had a wealth of knowledge. Moreover, Lucy was especially helpful in helping us to relocate to a new hotel. The one we had booked by ourselves was terrible, and Lucy was able to get a new one for us which was a huge improvement and helped to save our vacation. She was able to help us avoid having to pay another night at our old hotel and made sure to help us to get to our new hotel. The price of the new hotel was a bit expensive compared with our old one, but it was conveniently located and we were willing to pay it in order to leave our old hotel. Also, we appreciated her being able to take care of it on such short notice and she was able to do it quickly. Also, she walked with me to an ATM to get the cash to pay for the hotel. I walked back to the hotel by myself, but she did try to help me to remember how to get back. I got a little turned around, but I made it. She said to call her if I needed to. Lucy also suggested to us other activities and places where we could go on the remainder of our stay, which was very helpful. She also was helpful in suggesting places to eat. Overall, she provided a positive experience. The driver was helpful in opening doors and helping with the seats. He also did well in helping us to find the hotel we were leaving after the tour. We met at the metro station, so this was his first time having to find it and taking us to our new hotel. He was gracious about it. The vehicle was very clean and nice. Hi china travel guide there! Thanks for the great service provided and the excellent tour guides. Both Linda in Beijing and Jerry in Shanghai were wonderful and very very helpful. The meals in general were good. It was a little hard to judge whether the secluded rooms in which we had our meals and the quality of service, friendliness of staff, flexibility of meal items, provided by the restaurants are typical to Chinese dining or related to tour-accommodating restaurants, but it took a little getting used to. I think in general that the quantity of food was very good, sometimes a little too much. Both guides (Linda and Jerry) were very very helpful, always considerate to our specific needs and even went out of their way to help us when we needed it. Linda made sure that our 4-year old son Alex was accommodated in hotels with his own bed and Jerry helped me translate a cold medicine I needed to Chinese and helped buying tickets and getting on the train to Ningbo. They were also both very good at adjusting the amount of attractions we would see, because of time constraints when we needed to take it easier due to our son. Both Linda and Jerry's English were outstanding and on the occasional mispronunciation they were very eager to accept corrections, although these were very few. I even had fun with Tina practicing my Japanese and German. She was very funny. Jerry and Linda both showed an exceptional flexibility in knowledge ranging from the practiced historical and cultural explanations of sights and places to teaching me how to pronounce words in Mandarin and explaining mythological and spiritual contexts of various statues, symbols and signs. More importantly they both knew when not to tell too much as it could have been easy to overwhelm us with information that then would have just become too much to remember anyway. A right balance I would say. The cars were very clean and we enjoyed the friendly attitude of the drivers. Both were always helpful in helping our son get in and out of the van. Our driver in Beijing was even so concerned about our son staying warm he went out of his way to help us buy clothes to keep him warm. They both made sure the van was nice and warm so we could warm up quickly after being out in the cold and they both drove very safely yet quickly to get to the next place in time. I was impressed! As stated above we were very impressed with all people involved with china travel designer Tours. Our guides were very professional and friendly to a point where I consider them friends. The drivers were very good and went above and beyond their regular duties to make us comfortable and let's not forget them who have so good in providing the right information and quick responses to our own queries, which is always important to reassure visitors that they are being taken well care of. Hi Jessie Wang, Our whole trip was great, a very good experience ,the Tour is Exceeded expectation. The most memorable cities are Shanghai, Lijiang,Kunming. The most outstanding tour guide was Diana(Xian), she was the most polite, speaks very well English. The Sofitel hotel from Shanghai, Xian and Chengdu, The Crown Plaza hotel from Lijiang are very good. The market next to the Science & Technology Museum at Shanghai is a nice place for shopping. The Impression Shows, both were very awesome (Lijiang).I will recommend the company to friends and colleagues. Thanks again.
