Schedule Details

Day 1: Lhasa Arrival: Airport to Hotel Transfer (Lhasa)
Arrive at Lhasa. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. For the rest of the day you will be at leisure for acclimatization or visit local bazaar on your own.

Day 2: Lhasa: Potala Palace, Sera Monastery
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
A guided tour to the Lhasa's cardinal landmark - Potala Palace (UNESCO), the most visited monument in Tibet because of its grandeur and beauty. Then head to the Sera Monastery, one of three famous monasteries in Lhasa.

Day 3: Lhasa: Jokhang Temple, Norbulingkha, Barkhor Street
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today visit the spiritual center of Tibet, the Jokhang Temple, one of the most famous holy destinations in Tibet, also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The surrounding market is called Barkhor Street, one of the most important religious paths, which also assembles people for shopping. Afterwards visit Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama.

Day 4: Lhasa - Yamdroktso Lake - Lhasa: Yamdroktso Lake
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today head on 3.5 hours' drive and visit the Yamdroktso Lake, one of the three largest lakes in Tibet, lying about a hundred kilometers' distance to the southwest of Lhasa. Drive back to Lhasa.

Day 5: Lhasa Departure: Hotel to Airport Transfer (Lhasa)
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast meet your guide and transfer to Lhasa Airport. Service ends.
